"Polk valley is soooo tender and the taste if soup is quite deep even the interior of restaurant is not quite nice. Unfortunately the dumpling is sold out. Overally i recommend this restaurant to enjoy the soup with polk valley meat."

"We walked past this restaurant after hours and smelled the fragrance of stewed beef brisket. We came back for lunch the following day. Their beef brisket and separately pork belly noodle soup were totally authentic and delicious. This was a real gem for this kind of food. Their noodles were freshly made apparently."

"The noodles were not soggy and the beef was super tender! The self serving chilli, soya sauce and vinegar were an amazing touch that complemented the entire dish. If u crave for some Asian noodles, give this a try."

"Authentic Chinese noodle and great taste! The beef noodle is one of the best I have had in NZ, and even better than many noodle restaurants in China. Food was served fast as well. Definitely recommend for folks who enjoy Chinese noodle."

"As an Asian that has been travelling around south island for ~2 weeks, this really hit the spot. I felt the asian coming back into my veins as I was eating. The braised pork/beef noodle soup was delicious. We ordered pork dumplings but after being told they would take 20 minutes, we ended up waiting just over 30 minutes hence the 4 stars. They have a wide menu, from noodles, to pies, fish and chips, muffins, sandwiches, coffee."

"Very nice! From outside looks just like usual cafe same as inside, but their food... it's SOMETHING! The beef was melting in mouth! It was a bit spicy, but still absolutely amazing! They also added forlks and chopsticks to the takeaway order. And while we were waiting they had great music! Highly recommended!! Will come back for sure!"
